Current registrations with the respective registration bodies:
- College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM)
- A current Basic CPR certificate (BLS) required
- Minimum one-year experience ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC course as well as Triage/CTAS
- OBS and NRP are required to be assigned to birthing units
- Ability to think critically and to prioritize based on assignment
- Good crisis intervention skills eg, de-escalation techniques
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a team prayer
- EKG strip interpretation course/skill an asset
- Ability to do Intravenous/venipunctures
- Good physical assessment skills
