Current registrations with the respective registration bodies:
- College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM)
- A current Basic CPR certificate (BLS) required
- Minimum one-year experience ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC course as well as Triage/CTAS
- OBS and NRP are required to be assigned to birthing units
- Ability to think critically and to prioritize based on assignment
- Good crisis intervention skills eg, de-escalation techniques
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a team prayer
- EKG strip interpretation course/skill an asset
- Ability to do Intravenous/venipunctures
- Good physical assessment skills
License Practical Nurse
- Updated resume with three professional references
- Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Checks
- Up to date Immunization records
- Current registration with the College of Licensed of Practical Nurses of Manitoba
- Current Basic CPR certificate (BLS) required
- At least one year experience in ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC course & Triage/CTAS course
- OBS and NRP required if to be assigned to birthing units
- Good critical thinking skills & the ability to prioritize workload
- Good crisis intervention skills such as de-escalation techniques
- Physically able to perform the duties of the position
- EKG interpretation course/skill an asset

- Health Care Aide (HCA) certification from an approved Education and Training program
- Current certification in Basic Life Support and First Aid
- physically fit to perform duties and responsibilities such as lifting/transferring clients
- Demonstrates good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good organization skills and the ability to prioritize assignments
- Class 5 Drivers License
